Our beautiful Zoo harbors all year long not only 2.500 animals in more than 16 pavilions and plenty of other expositions, but thanks to its hotel also all of you who want to enjoy the African atmosphere deeply and longer. In addtition you can become an attendant for one day or feed beasts, wash an elephant or palm a giraffe... The areal of Zoo Ohrada is extended in a fascinating environment between the hunting castle Ohrada and the lake of Munice near the town Hluboká nad Vltavou. For our guests there is a varied exposition of beasts, mammals and birds. Either the muster of threatened species is not missing including the bear, wolf, lynx and otter. We also offer rich programms for pre-schools and schools of all levels, at the same time we have been preparing performances with animal themes for several years. Come to us to have a rest and get to know something more about the miracles of the nature.

Welcome to our Zoo areal which is situated in a picturesque valley of the river Jihlávka. Fanciful exposition of animals is only 10 min. walk from the centre of the town. In a while you will find yourselves in the middle of the countryside with water areas, woody slopes, meadows and rocks. The zoo without rails is the home for next to 150 species of exotic animals, including the species threatened by extinction. We specialize in raising felines, reptiles and monkeys.
